In the future, people have been engineered to stop ageing once they hit 25 but there's a catch., you only get to live one more year. You can buy more time, but the market has become monopolised by the rich who buy decades of time, essentially becoming immortal. Meanwhile the rest of society must beg, borrow and steal enough time just to make it through the day. But when Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) is falsely accused of murder, he decides now is the time to launch a war against the corrupt system.
